Connect QuickBooks, give Peregrine context, then let it close, budget, and forecast. Here's the path, module by module.
On the Settings page, click Add new company. Peregrine hands you off to Intuit's own login screen — you authorize Peregrine there, and your credentials never touch us.
Once authorized, Peregrine's AI agents read six months of your general ledger to build initial context — learning your vendors, your customers, and your chart of accounts before they do anything else.
The Agreements module does two jobs. First, it's a reference library for the agents — Peregrine reads each document, summarizes it, and stores the material terms so it can answer questions and make decisions grounded in your actual contracts. Second, it's document storage: files live in secure, S3-compatible object storage on Cloudflare, always within reach when you're logged in.
In the Accounting module, load your existing schedules — fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and the rest — through the setup wizard (paste them in) or a CSV upload.
If you uploaded a lease into Agreements, it's pulled straight into the Leases module. Peregrine calculates the lease and proposes the required entries each month.
Every bank and credit-card account appears in the reconciliation dropdown. For your first reconciliation in Peregrine, enter the beginning balance for that first month — then upload the statement and Peregrine matches it against your books, auto-matching the transactions it recognizes.
The Budget module defaults to your TTM financials as a starting point. Every vendor or client that hits an account can carry its own driver type.
The LBO module reads your asset purchase agreement and loan agreement (where applicable) to establish total cost basis in the investment. Set custom drivers for EBITDA growth and it forecasts your expected returns.
The forecast reads cash inflows against your AR balance and cash outflows against your AP balance, projecting your cash position forward. Today it pulls directly from your balance-sheet cash transactions.
The Peregrine agent sits in the bottom-right of every screen and is designed to be your assistant for navigating the whole platform — setting drivers, adjusting assumptions, answering questions. Nothing it proposes takes effect until you approve it in the Actions module.
